Just recently we had the pleasure of mastering SF duo Tone Of Arc with their remix of the song Saturday Night which was originally written and performed by Vancouver based indie-pop fiends Yukon Blonde. Being new to the sound of Tone Of Arc I was excited to be working on this project. They have a very distinct, warm and unique flavor. It's moody, but definitely more upbeat with an element of funk that makes this remix a little indie dance floor heater for sure. Great use of samples and vocal from the original composition without distancing too much from the 80's inspired glam that the original so awesomely captures.
