Starting this week out right with new video for the song "Got To Go" by artist Boulevards. The homie Jamil has been working with us here at The Submarine since the jump and we are psyched on this new offering which has really seen Boulevards sound placed on the map with imagery captured by the talented Lauren Gesswein and Alexander Christenson. Submarine controls mixed and mastered this little funk gem with producer Roller Girl bringing the funk. Boulevards on that good time summer time party vibe. This track is a floor burner.

Introducing new rapper and Bronx native Csee Ywhy. Part of the hard working crew spearheaded by fellow rapper and producer Vantum Noir (who has featured here multiple times under multiple aliases) this guy Csee Ywhy has been putting together his own EP and the singles are coming out one by one.

First record here that's come through The Submarine is the track Yaphet Kotto. Named after the longtime American actor known for his numerous roles in classics like Running Man, Live and Let Die and Alien. This track brings attention to Csee Ywhy on the first verse bringing his characteristic edgy flow over this jungle funk type sample blown out by a great horn section and keys accompanied by an enormous 808 sub bass, cracky snare and chopped up vocal attack. The track was produced by Vantum Noir who also features on the second verse with his unique flow.

Jamil Rashad aka Boulevards is back in Brooklyn this week to record yet another colab with young L.A. producer Isaac Galvez. The last couple of productions Boulevards has been working cross country and then tracking vocals and having the final record mixed and mastered with us here at The Submarine.

In the meantime check out the most recent offering "Forgot To Mention" that dropped a little while back. Receiving rave reviews on Vice and other high profile music blogs this Boulevards funk train is full steam ahead for summer.
