So a little while ago now Ninelives The Cat did a feature colab with Russian breaks producer Kid Digital for his debut album "In Full Effect". Vocals tracked here at The Submarine, produced in Russia and released by Bombtraxx Records his style totally put me in the mindstate of old classic big room rollin breakbeat. Nostalgic. Fun record to write on, the lyrical theme is pretty straight forward party vibes with kool B Fresh at the forefront of my thoughts at the time it was written as it was based on that time Velasco and I were DJing nonstop and breaks was just making a massive impact on the Australian dance music scene. Kid Digitals song featured below "Lose It" has a very distinct feel and motion thats definately reflective of that moment back when it was Beat Traffikers, IBT, yams and "Pump Up". oh my memories..
