     New young rapper out of Bedstuy Brooklyn, M.A.L.I.K Hooligan just finished up his debut EP "Any Other Day" here at The Submarine a couple of weeks ago.

     Smart, intelligent rap with a sound and delivery more reminiscent to the true old school feel of New York hip hop. A by-gone era that's still captured today and presented both thoughtfully and skillfully by a handful of young kids coming up in the scene that have something  genuine to say alongside beats and music that represent that energy.
