DAN WALKERFOUNDER, OWNER
Dan Walker is the founder of The Submarine and guitarist, vocalist, producer, and co-writer for art rock band, The Death Set.
Since 1996, Dan has worked in world class facilities such as Studio 301 and Uptime Studios here in New York, and has seen work released on labels including Ninja Tune, Dim Mak, Ultra Records, DFA, Rough Trade XL, and Atlantic. As a member of The Death Set, Dan has also turned in remixes for artists such as Little Boots, Drop The Lime, Daedalus, Spankrock, and DZ Deathrays. Dan is a certified SAE audio technology graduate with extensive teaching experience as a studio technician in the music department at Feather Stone High School in South London. After years of international touring and live performance, production, and engineering, The Submarine is Dan's next upward in a career spanning 15 years. With complete focus on recording, producing, mixing, and mastering artists all over the world, Dan has designed a friendly and dedicated creative space for ideas and sound to truly evolve. |
