Dan Walker is the founder/owner of "The Submarine", and is also a guitarist/vocalist and producer/co-writer for international touring band The Death Set.
Since 1996 to current, Dan has been continuously active in original live bands, producer projects and as a DJ. He has worked in world-class recording facilities such as Studio 301 in Sydney Australia and Uptime Studios in Manhattan, New York. Throughout his career he has also worked for and is past/presently signed to labels including Ninja Tune (Montreal/UK), Dim Mak (US), Ultra Records (US), Gold Whistle (US) and TCR (UK), and as part of The Death Set, has turned in remixes and covers for artists such as Little Boots, Drop The Lime, Daedalus, Spankrock, and DZ Deathrays among an array of others.
Dan Walker is also a certified SAE audio technology graduate and has had extensive teaching and mentor experience as a studio technician in the music department at FeatherStone High School in South London.
After many years of international touring and live performance, production and engineering, The Submarine studio has been the next logical step in a career path thats spanned well over a decade. With complete focus on recording, mixing and mastering bands and artists from all over the world, Dan has managed to design a friendly and dedicated creative space for musicians and ideas to truly evolve.
